Make the Road by Walking and community members will march up Knickerbocker Avenue on Saturday, December 16th at 11:30 a.m. to send a clear message to the owners of Associated Supermarket that they must respect our neighbors who work in their store, or we will not spend our money there. Make the Road New York! Latin American Integration Center and Make the Road by Walking celebrated the announcement of their merger at SEIU 32BJ's Auditorium on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 to a packed audience. Schools Chancellor Joel Klein, joined us to celebrate the event.
