Four Bushwick Schools Announce Pride Week Celebration


Students, staff and activists came together Wednesday to announce the start of Pride Week in four schools in Bushwick, Brooklyn to help make the school safer for students.

They partnered with the organization Make The Road New York to create workshops and support groups for LGBT students in an effort to stop bullying.

The week consists of workshops on homophobia and raising awareness of discrimination.
