A COMMUNITY OF SUPPORT provides badly needed legal services to members and leaders, and affirms an ethic of cooperation, mutual help, dignity, and animo. Our intervention is often vital to helping our low-income members keep a roof over their familiesı heads or food on their tables.

Our Legal Services program provides legal advice and representation to tenant associations in order to make safe living possible in buildings where the landlord is negligent or absent altogether. Legal Services also works to assist New Yorkers in navigating New York Cityıs health care and public benefits system and education system.
